About:

nonsense creature inspired by nonsense language in a scholastic reading test. Inspired by late 1800s inventions found in the circus.

Did You Know…

This figurine was originally going to be made out of ceramic material. Due to the Pandemic, I had no access to a kiln. This brought me to experiment in working with different materials.

The Figurine was created with a trap door with the intention to dispense peanuts, posable legs, and feet.

A rough template was created for the sides of the Chab so I could construct it three dimensionally. Many other templates were created just like it to ensure symmetry among the whole sculpt.
