Process:

Prior to the official carving, Southwick’s Zoo received two photo-collage/ hand drawn portraits of Stevie Wonder. The Goal was to capture the Essence of Stevie wonder while avoiding copyrighted material.

The chosen portrait was then printed out, hand traced onto foam pumpkins with charcoal and carved using an exacto knife, linoleum carving tools, sandpaper, acrili-gouache, and an assortment of paint markers.
