It was such a pleasure working with WBUR, as I truly love the work that they do. I appreciate the way they use their platform to educate and inform those around them through a diverse range of voices, debunking misinformation while also bringing in new information and discoveries! The illustration I made for them Is a large stack of radios varying in size, shape, and model. Each of their dials point to 90.9 as they tune into WBUR with excitement. The style of the illustration is reminiscent of rubber hose cartoons to feel more dynamic and youthful. Shading with screen tones as a nod to offset printing on newspapers. The fact that this piece is a puzzle, parallels the way the audience pieces together information to become a more educated and proactive individual in today's world.
