The Sack

Stoneware clay utilizing image transferring techniques such as paper transfer and low fire decal work.

Inspired by the flimsiness of wet clay slabs functioning like drapery in addition to quilting designs, potato sacks, and overgrowth of vegetation in/on abandoned objects and architecture.

Amaco underglaze was brushed and sprayed on then covered with a thin layers of lowfire matte underglaze for velvet surface and crackling effect.
